AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, a Healthy Louisiana Opens a new window Medicaid managed care health plan and part of the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies Opens a new window, received the highest rate of provider satisfaction among Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) evaluated in the recently-released Louisiana Department of Health’s 2018 Medicaid Managed Care Provider Satisfaction Survey. The survey of primary care providers (PCPs), physical health specialist physicians and behavioral health providers assesses their experience interacting with MCOs participating in the Healthy Louisiana program.
